Our school trip with the class 2°A
4-5 May
We got up at 4:50 am and we left home at 5:45 am. We caught the bus at 6:00 am and then we arrived at 10:00 am in Ravenna.
The weather was good, it was sunny. In the morning we visited some historical churches: Sant’Apollinare nuovo, San Vitale, Mausoleo di Galla Placidia and Dante’s grave. Most of monuments in Ravenna are made with the byzantine mosaic. We had lunch in a park, then we took some photos. In the afternoon we went to Battistero Neoniano, Duomo of Ravenna and some shops to buy souvenirs. In the evening we caught the bus to the hotel in Ferrara. We had dinner and we went to bed at 11 pm.
The next morning we had breakfast in the hotel and we visited some monuments in Bologna: International Museum of music history, Piazza Nettuno, the Towers, the library, Basilica of San Petronio.
We had lunch at the University canteen, after that we saw the “finestrella” and we did a stroll. We ate ice cream, and we got on the bus at 17:00 pm.
Finally, we got home at 20:30 pm.
Overall, the trip was very exciting, my favourite part was Bologna because it was a fantastic city. Next time, we would like to go to Sicily.

OUR SCHOOL TRIP
On the 4 th and the 5 th of May we went to Ravenna and Bologna.
At five o’ clock we got up and we went to the bus stop to catch the bus. At six o’ clock we left for Ravenna. At ten o’ clock we arrived at the city and we met the guide and he took us to Basilica of San Vitale,Basilica of Sant’Apollinare Nuovo and to the tomb of Dante Alighieri. Then we visited the Mausoleo ofGalla Placidia and the Battistero Neoniano. In every church there were a lots of mosaics. At two o’clock pm we had lunch and then we went to shopping. At five o’clock pm we left to the hotel in Ferrara.
At hotel we went to the bedrooms and then we went to dinner. After dinner, we went to our bedrooms and we met our other classmates.
At seven o’ clock of the following day, we got up and we went to have breakfast. At eight o’clock we left to Bologna and we met the guide. With her we went to the most famous places in the city. We went to the Duomo of Bologna, to the “Sala Borsa” and we did a stroll in the city. At one o’clock pm we went to the university canteen and we had lunch. At half past two pm we went to visit the international museum of the library of the music.
At four o’clock we did some shopping in Bologna and next we went to the bus to return home. Wearrived to Offida at nine o’clock.
The trip was very funny and some of us loved the museum of music because we saw some musical instruments what we have never watched like the clavicembalo.
